runandtalk2The #runandtalk campaign has been created with the aim of improving mental health through running. It is being supported by both the mental health charity Mind and England Athletics. By supporting this campaign Mental Health Together want to:

  • get people talking about mental health, sharing their experiences and removing stigma
  • provide support and guidance to raise awareness of mental health problems
  • support people experiencing mental health problems to be physically active through running whether that is to support them in starting, returning to or continuing to run

We recognise that not everyone wants to run, so every #runandtalk event that we hold has both running and walking options. Everyone can get involved to support their own mental health, while meeting others in their local community. After our run we continue the talk in the pub, over a few drinks and nibbles. What's not to love!!

#RunandRevise

We are also supporting the #runandrevise campaign which is aimed at 16-25 year olds and designed to help improve their mental wellbeing by taking a break from studies and running. Please encourage the younger members of your family or friends to join us.

All our events are open to both men and women and we'd love you to get involved!
